New Year. Same Me.

It’s been a ridiculously long break.

I’ve had a second baby, I’ve got married (yay and on a budget) and I’ve been in two different job roles. But, I’ve got that balance in life again. You know the kind I mean. Where you know how to handle each day, you’ve fell back into a groove, you’re slowly starting to get your head, heart, life, attitude, job, cats and kids in order again. You can recognise certain triggers that will make your anxiety swell, your mood darken and your mind wander. The good thing about this? You can get those triggers dealt with before they take over. 2019, I’ve got this.

Some goals for the year? Well I think it’s compulsory in the first 2019 post right?

  • To start saving and linking my love of organisation into being more budget savvy
  • To be outdoors more and open our eyes to new nature trails and environments
  • To slowly start to redecorate and update my house decor
  • To start blogging and loving writing again but for me, not the numbers, aiming for a blog post a week
  • To start baking
  • To reach 2000 followers on twitter (feel free to help this one out @mrsnuttallsays)

    Congratulations on baby number 2 and your marriage! Your goals are great and even reminded me, of one that I forgot to write down in my planner (with respect to savings).     Congrats on the new baby!
    I’m going to work on being more active on my blog, and social media (for the blog’s sake, of course). I’ve got to get in less screen time and more time in real life – reading, outdoors with my girls, and volunteering with our church. I’ve got a lot of plans this year – I’ve got a good feeling about this one 😉

      A positive mental attitude is all it takes my dear. We can smash these goals. The baby ain’t so new, she’s almost 2! But she’s new since I last blogged. I’m blaming getting married and changing up my identity haha! X

    Congrats on the new baby and wedding. Hope you had an amazing time. I know exactly what you mean by triggers as I have them too. I love you goals for this year. Mine are to take more time out for me and to be my best self. Oh and lose some weight too. That would be nice haha x

        Yeah, same here. I need to do some research on recipes too. Getting bored of eating the same thing day in day out. Just need ideas for lunches. Pinterest has some good ideas x


  5. Congratulations on baby number 2! I think realistic goals are good to have for the year ahead otherwise you will never achieve them. I’ve recently come back to my blog and I’ve stopped worrying about the numbers and it’s motivated me so much more because it’s for me. Great post!xo

    Great Post. We did everything all at once. Had IVF and was successful. Brought a house then got married it was crazy. So worth it looking back. My goal this year is to do more for me. I have a job I love and hopefully will finish my book. Fingers crossed. Xx
